Physico-Chemical and Melissopalynological Characterization of Czech Honey

Geographical and botanical origin of honeys can be characterized on the basis physico-chemical composition, sensory properties melissopalynological analysis. No comprehensive description characteristics Czech honey has been published so far. This study provides insights that are important for correct classification. The analysed 317 samples authentic from randomly selected localities. Due to diversity landscape, typical region is blend with a predominance blossom honey. According pollen profile electric conductivity, were sorted into following: Brassica (BH), Floral (FH), Fruit tree (PH), Honeydew (HD), Lime (LH), Robinia pseudoacacia (RH), Trifolium (TH). Physico-chemical properties, including higher carbohydrates, determined their profiles examined. partially in compliance European monofloral honeys, except RH TH. Although they had highest proportion acacia pollen, amounting >10% all these differ standard, cannot considered Further, PH FH polyfloral described.
